The cordless HD1100 is a practical and versatile reader with advanced features, making it suitable for use in almost any environment. It can be used in small shops and markets, right through to offices and even logistics centres and warehouses. Equipped with a CMOS sensor, the scanning system can read the leading 1D and 2D barcodes, both printed and displayed on LCD screens and mobile devices. In addition, the use of this type of matrix, which has no moving parts, guarantees greater resistance to damage than traditional laser readers. Precise and convenient scanning is aided by an illuminating LED and a viewfinder.
Freedom to work and power to perform
Free and wireless operation is guaranteed by radio communication via the included USB micro-receiver. The use of radio waves allows comfortable movement with the scanner within a radius of up to several dozen metres. Particularly noteworthy is the memory mode, through which scanned codes are stored in the device's built-in memory. After reading the appropriate control code from the manual, it is possible to display the number of stored codes, transfer the data to a PC and clear the device memory. The HD1100 offers up to a full day of intensive scanning, all thanks to a powerful built-in battery with a capacity of up to 1800 mAh. As an added benefit, the scanner can be charged and data can be transferred via the included USB cable, giving you a wired device.
Functionality and wealth of features
When the USB receiver is connected to the computer, the reader is visible as an HID keyboard. The device also offers the possibility of simulating a serial port using the Virtual COM function. This solution significantly increases the application range of the scanning equipment. In order to maximise comfort and convenience, the scanner is equipped with automatic scanning capability. Barcodes are read as soon as they are detected by the sensor, eliminating the need to press the scanning button and increasing productivity. Noteworthy is the option that allows any character to be programmed as a prefix and suffix from the ASCII character table. With this function, it is possible to set the selected sequence of characters to appear after or before the code.
